Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of your Golforia account and personal information at any time. This process applies to information associated with Golforia accounts and applications, including accounts created or accessed through Facebook or Google.

How to request deletion

Email admin@golforia.africa with the subject line Golforia data deletion request. Include the email address associated with your account and, if available, your application or trip reference. We may ask for reasonable information to verify that the request belongs to you before taking action.

What happens next

After verification, Golforia will delete or anonymise personal information that is no longer needed for a lawful business purpose. We will confirm when the request has been completed. Some information may be retained for as long as required by law, accounting obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Retained information will be securely deleted when the applicable retention period ends.

Connected accounts

Deleting information held by Golforia does not delete your Facebook or Google account. If you used Facebook Login, you can also remove Golforia from your Facebook connected apps in your Facebook account settings.
